Biography

Andy Fisher is a Partner and Trustee with Farber Financial Group.

His practice focuses on owner-managed and small businesses along with personal insolvency and restructuring, primarily in the Greater Toronto Area, Kitchener and Durham Region.

His practice focuses on personal, small business and corporate insolvency and restructuring, distressed financial advisory services and corporate consultative advisory services and has been involved on a variety of Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act (BIA) engagements, including acting as a Trustee for proposals, Trustee in bankruptcy, and, private and court appointed Receiver.
 
Andy joined the firm in January 2009 when Alan Lawson, Fisher Inc., one of the Durham Region’s most notable trustee firms, was acquired by Farber Financial Group.

In January 2012, Andy was promoted to Partner within the firm.

In 2000 Andy became owner and president of Alan Lawson, Fisher Inc. where he successfully helped individuals and small businesses deal with their financial pressure and mounting debt loads. As an experienced Trustee in Bankruptcy, with entrepreneurial business experience, Andy brings unique skills, knowledge and experience to engagements. He provides practical, cost-effective solutions that benefit both the business, the owner or the consumer.
 
Andy frequently appears on local and national media (including CBC NewsWorld, CTV, BNN, CP24, Global Focus Ontario, the Toronto Star, the Globe & Mail the National Post).
