Graeme Whitehead is a Trustee with Farber Financial Group.
Graeme manages the Hamilton/Niagara Region practices (Hamilton, Halton, Stoney Creek, Brant, St. Catharines, and Burlington) for the firm.
His practice focuses on personal, small business and corporate insolvency and restructuring, distressed financial advisory services and corporate consultative advisory services and has been involved on a variety of Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA) and (Companies’ Creditors Arrangements Act) CCAA engagements.
He joined Farber Financial Group in 2009 after 11 years with the one of the leading assurance and accounting firms in Canada where he gained experience in roles such including Trustee/Administrator of Proposals, Trustee in Bankruptcy of consumer and corporate estates, private and court-appointed receiver, interim receiver, private and court-appointed monitor and proceedings under the CCAA.
His commercial industry experience includes greenhouse operations, vineyards, wineries, general manufacturing and machining, retail, and trucking.
Graeme brings a creative, respectful and co-operative approach to all insolvency engagements. He takes great pride in his work whether it is assisting a family save their home while maximizing the recovery to creditors or it is restructuring and preserving a viable business for its stakeholders, owners and employees.
He is a frequent speaker to banks, credit unions, accounting and law firms on insolvency and related matters, primarily in the Hamilton/Niagara/Golden Horseshoe.
