Nathan Treitel Adds to Corporate Finance and Business Valuation Team

Farber Financial Group is pleased to announce the addition of Nathan Treitel as a Senior Analyst with Klein Farber Corporate Finance Inc. Nathan brings with him a diverse 12-year history in the financial advisory services sector. Nathan's primary responsibility will be in the area of business valuation services. He will add depth and bench strength to the Klein Farber team by bringing additional skills and experience.

Nathan’s experience has spanned geographies having worked in Canada and Israel providing value added business and financial advice to public and private corporations as well as public sector clients. Nathan has developed an expertise in business valuation and project finance and has utilized his experience to enable smart investment decisions for individuals and corporate clients in a wide range of sectors and industries.

Most recently, Nathan both led his own consultancy and served as a Vice President with a budding Toronto-based asset management company. As a consultant, Nathan was engaged to provide a wide range of services including the valuation of businesses and intangible assets and assisting entrepreneurs in the development of business plans and the preparation of detailed financial models required for financing purposes.

As a Vice President with the asset management company, Nathan was a key member of the executive team responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the company and providing an extensive network of relationships that were leveraged to meet individual client needs.

Prior to that Nathan spent six years with the Toronto office of a global consulting firm, first in their Project Finance group and then as a Senior Associate in their Dispute Analysis & Valuations group.

Nathan’s work included valuation of corporate entities and assets and helping clients maximize financial and performance outcomes. Nathan’s work on infrastructure transactions in sectors ranging from healthcare and transportation to justice and corrections involved providing financial and transaction advice to both private and public sector clients and included process selection, transaction documentation, bid evaluation, financial modelling, due diligence, risk analysis and value for money assessments.

Earlier in his career, while in Israel, Nathan worked on the privatization of government owned assets and led a team responsible for determining and executing the privatization strategy.

Nathan joined Klein Farber Corporate Finance Inc. and the Farber Financial Group on Tuesday October 26, 2010. Nathan’s practice focuses on providing value-added financial advisory services and sound strategic advice to mid-market companies in support of a wide range of activities including business valuations, tax reorganizations, estate freezes, going private transactions, acquisitions and divestitures. Given Nathan’s extensive and diverse experience, he brings timely experience and capabilities to the Farber Financial Group and its clients.
